Director Ameer Sultan has lodged complaint against Studio Green and Gemini Labs over Paruthiveeran royalty issue. The filmmaker has alleged that they didn't seek his permission to release the dubbed version of the Tamil movie in Telugu.It is learnt that Ameer, in his complaint, has said that Gnanavel Raja owned Studio Green is releasing the Telugu version of Paruthiveeran without getting his consent and it has not paid the royalty, that's against the agreement. The director wrote a letter to Gemini Labs recently saying that they need to not give the negatives and the rights to the production house.

Gemini Labs allowed the movie bosses to dub the movie in Telugu, hence he has filed the complaint against them too. Ameer says that he was the script writer and director of Paruthiveeran and he deserves the royalty.

The Tamil version of Paruthiveeran starring Karthi and Priyamani is predicted to release on March 2.
