Hansika loves Coimbatore

Hansika Motwani is a veritable jumble of pleasure and effort; for the reason that she has a huge release due soon in conjunction with a couple of big projects in her kitty in addition to recently being declared the ‘Dream Girl of Kollywood’ by fans in Singapore, the young starlet is actually on a roll. The actor, whose last major release in K-Town was Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Velayudham, shares an overly quaint relationship with Coimbatore, its people and the local cuisine.

“I went around Coimbatore very often while I USED TO BE shooting for Velayudham. It’s an enchanting place with numerous energy,” the actor shares as she further adds that it’s the south Indian cuisine that has always caught her fascination. “My mother keeps saying that I will need to have been born in a south Indian family as a result of my love for south Indian food. It’s been so ever since I USED TO BE a child and now that I work within the southern film industries, it just got better. I LIKE the ever-present Idly-Dosa combination. In fact, that was my pet name as a child! In school, I MIGHT bug the canteen boys to get me my daily quota of Idly! After a while, they knew perfectly well what was on my menu,” she laughs. “Also, I REALLY LIKE the best way food is eaten at the plantain leaves here. Once I was shooting in Pollachi, I had tried out numerous local food, most of them I don’t remember the names of.”

On what she’s been as much as of late, Hansika says, “I’ve been working round-the-clock. I'VE Singam 2 with Suriya arising and now I also begin shooting for Vettai Mannan with Simbu in Chennai. Besides shooting, I'VE BEEN completely immersed within the promotions for my upcoming release. I’m also taking a look at a couple of films in Telugu and a few films are still unconfirmed on paper, but that’s still within the works.”

Would she wish to come again to town again and spend time? “Of course I'D! I LIKE the city, the folk and the overall vibe it gives out. It’s an excessively positive place and really nice to live in,” she signs off.
